Our Lens on Biodiversity Exhibition is now open at Riverton Library.
The community is invited to explore a stunning collection of photographs that capture the animals, plants and natural spaces that make Canning unique.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 2 November, so there is still time to come along and enjoy the creativity on display.

Background
The Lens on Biodiversity Community Photo Competition was officially open for Biodiversity Month 2025. Amateur photographers of all ages and skill levels were invited to showcase their creativity while celebrating Canning’s incredible natural environment.
From rich flora and captivating fauna to tiny pollinators and fungi networks, we got to see your photos that captured the essence of Canning’s biodiversity.
Three categories: children (12 and under), youth (13-17) and adults (18+) – everyone had a chance to be recognised 📸
Prize pool worth more than $1,400 🏆
Selected entries showcased in a public exhibition and community celebration later this year 🎉
