During the winter season, the City of Canning offers a limited number of uncovered synthetic cricket pitches available for free community use.

Where can I find these pitches?

The uncovered synthetic pitches are available at these locations:

  • Woodford Reserve on the corner of Woodford Road and Lynwood Avenue, Lynwood
    • One uncovered pitch
  • Centenary Reserve on Centenary Avenue, Wilson
    • Two uncovered pitches
  • Ferndale Reserve on Metclafe Road, Ferndale
    • One uncovered pitch on Oval 3 – closest to Metcalfe Road and the main driveway into the reserve

Please note that Maniana Park in Queens Park is currently under construction and unavailable for use.

Important Guidelines

To ensure cricket pitches remain in good condition and are playable for the summer season, please:

  • Don't play on any cricket pitches that have mats installed.
  • Don't remove or relocate cricket mats. This is essential for your safety and the safety of others.
