Asset maintenance
Noticed an issue with a Council facility that requires maintenance? Please submit a request to let us know.
Urgent requests
If the request is urgent, please report it to the City by calling 1300 422 664. This will allow a City officer to respond with the highest priority.
Requests considered urgent include water leaks with large amounts of water impacting buildings, electrical issues that could cause an electric shock, air-conditioning outage in summer, and blocked toilets.
Types of maintenance
Maintenance to City assets can include:
- air-conditioning
- boardwalk repairs
- bridge repairs
- carpentry
- electrical (other than lights)
- fence repairs
- jetty repairs
- lights including City owned street light maintenance
- painting
- paving
- plumbing
- roof leaks
- all other general maintenance.
Asset maintenance also includes facilities within City parks such as:
- benches
- BBQs
- lighting in toilet blocks
- toilet block maintenance

- To request maintenance to a City asset, please select the most appropriate option below.
- Your request will be actioned within three (3) business days.
- If you are unable to find the correct address when submitting the request, please contact us.
Request to change lighting times at sporting fields
If you would like to change the times that lights come on for training and sporting activities (e.g. at sporting fields), please submit a request.
