Get active with free fitness thanks to Million Moves

The City of Canning is partnering with AUSactive’s Million Moves to run free physical activities throughout September.
AUSactive’s Million Moves is a community-powered program aiming to boost Australians’ physical activity levels and improve community well-being by encouraging consistent daily movement.
Running from 1 September to 21 September, the City of Canning will offer an exciting range of free physical activities.
Free Leisureplex entry
The Cannington Leisureplex will be open for free casual entry on verification that the participant is signed up to Million Moves:
- Free Casual Aquatic entry on Friday 19 September, 5.30am to 8.30pm.
- Free Casual Gym entry on Friday 19 September, 5.30am to 8.30pm.
Join our walking group
Come along and join in with a community walking group, starting from Kent Street Weir on Friday 12 September at 9am.
The group will be doing 2 laps of the Banksia Hill Loop Trail. There will also be an opportunity for a coffee break!
Community Zumba Class
We’ll be running a free community Zumba Class at Riverton Reserve on Wednesday 17 September at 9.30am.
Join the Team
You can compete against your fellow Canning residents by signing up to the Million Moves challenge. The more you move, the higher you’ll climb the leaderboard.
