The Mayor arriving at the Gala Dinner

Tickets are now on sale for the City of Canning’s Camco Engineering Mayor’s Charity Gala Dinner to be held on Friday 8 November, with all money raised going directly to local charity, Good Sammy Enterprises.

Tickets for this prestigious event are $203.50 including GST per person which includes canapés and drinks on arrival, a delicious curated three-course dinner, and a premium beverage package. The night will also feature live entertainment from local Perth band Switch, comedian Peter Rowsthorn and Master of Ceremonies, Tim Gossage.

Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in fundraising activities and experience the heart-warming feeling of supporting a well-loved charity, which is based right here in the City of Canning.

All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising activities on the night will go directly to Good Sammy and help support several new initiatives, including the delivery of traineeship programs in Canning schools for students with disability.

Mayor Patrick Hall encourages the community to come along to the Camco Engineering Mayor’s Charity Gala Dinner, as it promises to be a night of elegance and community spirit.

“Following the success of the inaugural 2022 Camco Engineer Mayor’s Charity Gala Dinner, where over $70,000 was raised for charity, this year’s event is set to be even bigger and better.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing the community come together for a fantastic night of entertainment to help raise money to support local charity, Good Sammy, to make a real difference to the lives of people living with disability.

“Local business still have the opportunity to donate auction items. Your generosity will deliver a direct benefit to Good Sammy and contribute significantly to the success of the event,” Mayor Hall said.

Since local engineering firm Camco Engineering signed up as the event’s naming rights sponsor, the City has added Maddington Toyota & Canning Vale Toyota, and Brooks Hire as platinum sponsors. Major Motors, Perth Markets Group, Komatsu Australia, Total Work Wear, Paywise and Westfield Carousel have signed up as diamond sponsors and PerthNow is the event media partner.

“Thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors for joining the City of Canning to support such a wonderful charitable cause. We simply couldn’t hold this event without your generosity,” Mayor Hall said.

Tickets can be purchased until 18 October, unless sold out prior, by going to www.canning.wa.gov.au/charitygaladinner. Direct donations to the charity and auction item donations can also be made here.
